While most of us fondly recall the tradition of pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving Day, here’s another taste treat that the Susie & Derek Ames’ family has enjoyed this Fall! Even better, these easy-to-make bars feature cream cheese frosting…
Extremely Moist Delicious Pumpkin Bars
Stuff you’ll need for bars:
4 eggs, 1-2/3 cup sugar, 1 cup canola oil, 1 15 oz can pumpkin, 2 cups flour, 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt.
- In a bowl, beat eggs, sugar, oil and pumpkin.
- Combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt and then gradually add to pumpkin mix.
- Lightly coat jelly roll pan with cooking spray and pour mixture in.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely before frosting.
Cream Cheese Frosting
Beat ingredients (1 pkg 8 oz softened cream cheese, ¼ cup softened butter, 1 tsp vanilla, ½ pkg powdered sugar (about half of a 2 lb bag)) together in small bag until smooth.
Enjoy!
