Better Than Pumpkin Pie?

While most of us fondly recall the tradition of pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving Day, here’s another taste treat that the Susie & Derek Ames’ family has enjoyed this Fall! Even better, these easy-to-make bars feature cream cheese frosting…

Extremely Moist Delicious Pumpkin Bars

Stuff you’ll need for bars:
4 eggs, 1-2/3 cup sugar, 1 cup canola oil, 1 15 oz can pumpkin, 2 cups flour, 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt.

  1.  In a bowl, beat eggs, sugar, oil and pumpkin.
  2. Combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt and then gradually add to pumpkin mix.
  3. Lightly coat jelly roll pan with cooking spray and pour mixture in.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.  Cool completely before frosting.

Cream Cheese Frosting
Beat ingredients (1 pkg 8 oz softened cream cheese, ¼ cup softened butter, 1 tsp vanilla, ½ pkg powdered sugar (about half of a 2 lb bag)) together in small bag until smooth.

Enjoy!
