Surely each of us is likely focused on the big Turkey Day celebrations with family and friends this month, but here are a few other suggestions that might be added to your calendar this November:
November 5 – Congressional Elections. Without getting partisan about who wins or loses, it’s always important for voters to express their opinions on both ballot measures and who will lead your neighbors. Be sure to cast your ballot by election day!
November 11 – Portland Veterans Day Parade. Thank veterans, active military, and their families at this 2000-strong parade in NE Portland. veteransdaypdx.org
November 23 & 24. Raise money for the Audubon Society of Portland by admiring or buying fine artworks inspired by nature. wildartsfestival.org
