We’re excited to announce that we’ve hired two new agents in July at Timmco, Tyler and Dallas Ross! Tyler and Dallas grew up in the Beaverton area and after attending college, they both found jobs in insurance. We asked them a few questions so you could get to know them better.
What’s your favorite thing to do outside of the office?
Tyler: Anything baseball or sports related. I coach high school baseball for Southridge high school and am involved in the summer program for baseball with Southridge, Sunset, and Beaverton. I also love wine tasting with Dallas and love to hang out with Boston.
Dallas: Wine tasting, experimenting with makeup, and hanging out with my son, Boston, and my husband.
If you could go on a trip anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Tyler: Italy. To taste the wine and eat the food and experience the culture.
Dallas: Bora Bora for sure, I’d love to stay in the little huts right on the ocean.
If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
Tyler: That’s tough. If I could grab drinks with five people they would be Vince Vaughn, Justin Timberlake, Dustin Pedroia, David Ortiz, and Michael Jordan.
Dallas: I would have a candle-lit dinner with Matthew McConaughey
What are you most excited about for this job?
Tyler: Experiencing the family culture of Timmco and helping each other out. Timmco is very involved within the community and I’m looking forward to adding to that and making it grow. You see many more community based businesses growing due to communities rallying together and supporting small, local businesses.
Dallas: I’m most excited about being able to work with new people and growing and getting to know the clientele and ultimately develop new relationships.
What is your favorite movie or TV show?
Tyler: I have a wide range of favorites – anything ESPN or ghost adventures.
Dallas: My favorite TV show is Ted Lasso and favorite movie is Remember the Titans
What’s your favorite food?
Tyler: Has to be pizza, for sure.
Dallas: Tacos!
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Tyler: Teleportation, I could go wherever!
Dallas: Teleportation. (Clearly Tyler and I have gotten stuck on a few road trips recently).
What is some insurance advice you would share with your customers?
Tyler: Always understand the basis of your policies. A lot of people just look at the price at the end, but make sure to have a conversation with your agent every year to better understand your policy coverages.
Dallas: Find an advisor you can trust!
